Not until, we, the disabled community get more involved in the activities of our community will we ever be truly recognized as equal citizens not just under the law but having the law behind us. That means participating in everything from community events to political elections.
In order to do that TRANSPORTATION is vital. We have to get where we want to go, need to go, whether it is school, shopping or a church picnic. This is not just a federal issue, a state issue or even a city issue. It is a community issue, a Ward issue.
